If the mean of 6,4,7,P and 10 is 8, find the value of P.

Mean = (sum of observations)/(no.of observations) = 6+4+7+10+p/5
(27+p)/5 = 8
27+p = 40
p =13

it is 13.because 6+4+7+10+P/5=8
so 27+P= 8×5=40
P=40-27=13
