so
(x+2x+1+2x+9)/3 = 30
5x+10 = 90
5x = 80
=> x = 16
so mean of last 2 observation 2x+1 and 2x+9
=> (2x+1+2x+9)/2=(4x+10)/2=2x+5
so by substituting x = 16
2x+5 = 32+5=37
so mean of last 2 observation is 37
