• Mode of the x observations = 75

To find,

• We have to find the median of the x observations

Solution,

If the mean of x observation is 30 and their mode is 75, then its median is 45.

We can simply find the median of the x observations by using the formula,

          Mode = 3 median -2 mean

 Substituting the values of mean and mode in the above formula, we get

                75 = 3(median) - 2(30)

                75 = 3 Median - 60

         75 +60 = 3 Median

                135 = 3 Median

              135/3 = Median

                 45 = Median

Hence, if the mean of x observation is 30 and their mode is 75, then its median is 45.
