HEYA!!!!!

Given,

Mean = 24

Observations are x + x +2 + x+ 4 + x +6 + x +8

Mean = sum of observations / number of observations

24 = x + x +2 + x +4 + x +6 + x +8 / 5

24 = 5x + 20 / 5

24×5 = 5x + 20

120 = 5x + 20

120 - 20 = 5x

100 = 5x

100/5 = x

20 = x...

Therefore, the observations are 20 , 20+2 = 22, 20+4 = 24 , 20 + 6 = 26 , 20 + 8 = 28..

Mean = sum of all observations \ total number of observation

Mean =x+x+2+x+4+x+6+x+8 \ 5

24=5x+20 \ 5

120=5x+20

120-20=5x

100\5 = x

20=x

x = 20
