If the measure of angles of a triangle
are x°, yº and 40°, and difference between
the two measures of angles x° and yº is
30°, then find the values of x° and yº?

Answer:

Given, x°-y°=30° ----------->(1)

Using Angle sum property of triangle which states that sum of each angle of triangle is 180°.

=> x°+y°+40°=180°

=> x°+y°= 140° -------------->(2)

On solving (1) and (2),we get

x°=85° y°=55°

This is the best possible answer
