To find the b we can substitute as (a,b) for b

so b is (a,b)

Formula x1+y1 /2 =x2+y2/2

so for finding a :

-1+a/2=1                            (on taking 2 to right hand side)

-1+a=2

a=3

for finding b

0+y/2=1

0+y=2

y=2

so the coordinate of b is (3,2)
