The moon attracts the earth with the same gravitational force as the earth attracts the moon.
However, mass of Earth is comparitively much larger than moon.
Since force= mass * acceleration
So, acceleration= force / mass
Since the mass of earth is very large, the acceleration produced is just negligible.
Therefore, the earth does not move towards the moon even though the moon attracts the earth.
