let the fraction be x/y now according to question 3x/4y now 3x/4yreduces to 1/5 when we subtract 4 from 3x, i.e., 3x-4/4y=1/5
5(3x -4)= 4y
15x-20= 4y
15x = 4y + 20
15x = 4(y+20)
15x/4 = y+ 20
5(3x -4)= 4y
15x-20= 4y
15x = 4y + 20
15x = 4(y+20)
15x/4 = y+ 20
