If the numerator of a fraction is increased by 500% and the denominator is increased by 300%.
the resultant fraction is 11/17 . What was the original fraction?

resultant fraction is = 11/17
original fraction has assumed as 100%
now we calculate numerator and denominator separately
Numerator has increased 500% .originally it is 100%, 
                                                   numerator = 11×1/5⇒ 2.2
  i.e numerator is = 2.2
Denominator increased by 300%. originally it is 100%,
                               denominator = 17×1/3⇒5.6666666667(approximately)
and the original fraction is = 2.2/5.6666666667
