CORRECTION OF QUESTION:-

QUESTION:- IF THE 5th term of A.P is 0. then 17th term of the A.P will be ?

STEP BY STEP EXPLAINATION:-

A.P can be represented as, of the form (a+d..)

(

So,

5th term will be ;

1)

=>a+4d=0------(1

which means; a= -4d

--------

and Question asks for 17th term,

which will be :")

a+16d= ?

as we know,

using hit and trial,

as i solved will directly tell you its 11th term !!

How ??

=>a+4d=0

and

(a+4d)=2(a+10d)

=>a+4d=2a+20d

=> -a-4d=0

which is satisying the above eqn no. 1

and thus is the answer!!

thanks!!
