\huge{ \underline{ \bf{{{    \pink{ \overline{Solution:}}}}}}}

Opposite sides of a parallelogram are equal

∴ a + b = 12

a + a = 12

2a = 12

a = 6

We know,

 \longrightarrow  \boxed{ \sf{ \red{Area  \: of  \: parallelogram} \:  =   \green{\:  a \:  × \:  h}}}

⇒ 6 × 2

 \implies \bf{12cm ^{2} }
