If the perimeter of a parallelogram is 140 m,the distance between a pair of opposite sides is 7 meters and it's area is 210 sq.m, find the length of the two adjacent sides of the parallelogram

here's ur answer...

given:-

height=7m

area of the parallelogram=210m²

b×h=210m²

b×7=210m²

b=210/7

b=30m

now we will find the length of adjacent sides.

perimeter of parallelogram=140m

2(b+h)=140m

2(30+h)=140m

30+h=140/2

30+h=70

h=70-30

h=40m

hence, length of the adjacent side is 40m.
