Step-by-step explanation:

HEY MATE YOUR ANSWER IS HERE ^_^

LET THE SIDE OF SQUARE BE 3x.

THE LENGTH AND BREADTH OF THE RECTANGLE IS IN THE RATIO IS 2:1.

LET SIDE OF THE RECTANGLE BE 2x & 4x.

IT ALSO APPLIES TO THE CONDITION THAT PERIMETER OF RECTANGLE AND SQUARE IS EQUAL.

THEN RATIO OF AREA OF RECTANGLE AND SQUARE = (2x*4x):(3x*3x)

= (8x^2):(9X^2) = 8:9

Answer:

9:8

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the perimeter of rectangle and square be x

Let the length and breadth of rectangle be L and B and side of square be S

2*L + 2*B = x --> L + B = x/2 ......................(i)

4S  = x --> S = x/4 ........................................(ii)

Area of square : S^2 = x^2/16

Area of Rectangle :

Given : L:B = 2:1 ( Just assuming Length to be greater than breadth , u can try reverse, doesn't matter) , therefore : L/B = 2/1

Thus , we see that : L = 2B

placing it in (i) ,

we get ,3B = x/2 ---> B = X/6 ---> L = 2B = x/3

thus , Area of rectangle = x^2/18

and finally area ratios : 1/16 : 1/18 = 18:16 = 9:8
