25 I/3 yards=25 I/3x3=76 feet

2 (I +b) =P

2 (22+b) = 76, Solving b=16

Hence width is 16 feet

Answer:

If the perimeter of a rectangular house is 25 1/3 yards, and the length is 22 feet. The width is 16 feet.

Explanation:

Perimeter of a rectangle is the sum of all sides of a rectangle.

Perimeter of a rectangle(P) = 2 ( l + b )

Where, l is length of the rectangle

b is breadth of the rectangle

Given ,

Perimeter (P) = 25 ⅓ yards

= 76/3 yards

We know that , one yard = 3 feet

So Perimeter (P) =( 76/3) ×3

P= 76 feet

P= 76 feetGiven,

length ( l)= 22 feet

By substituting above values in the formula of perimeter,

Perimeter (P)= 2 ( l + b)

76 = 2 ( 22 + b)

76/2= 22 + b

38 = 22 + b

38-22 = b

Therefore, breath of the rectangle (b) = 16 feet
