In equilateral triangle 3 sides are equal

so perimeter is =24

then 24/3 =8

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the side of the equilateral triangle be #

Perimeter =24

3#=24

#=24/3

#=8cm

In equilateral triangle draw a perpendicular on any side

Then side will be 1/2

So by Pythagoras theorem

4²+H²=8²

16+H²=64

H²=64-16

H²=48

H=2root12

Area of equilateral triangle =root3/4×8²

=root3/4×64

=root3×16

=16root3

Or

Area of equilateral triangle =1/2×B×H

=1/2×4×2root12

=4root12

=16root3
