Given :

⬤ Perimeter of Rectangle is 36 m.

⬤ Length is 3 more than twice of Breadth.

To Find :

⬤ Area of Rectangle .

Formula Used :

\bf[\:{Perimeter \: of \: Rectangle = 2(l+b)}\:]

  • l = length
  • b = breadth

Solution :

Let :

  • Breadth of Rectangle be x.
  • Length of Rectangle be 2x + 3 .

First , We have to Calculate Length and Breadth of Rectangle . Hence ,

As per Question :-

36 = 2(l + b)

36 = 2(2x + 3 + x)

36/2 = 3x + 3

18 = 3x + 3

18 - 3 = 3x

15 = 3x

15/3 = x

5 = x

Therefore , The Value of x is 5 .

Hence ,

Breadth of Rectangle = x

= 5

Length of Rectangle = 2x + 3

= 2(5) + 3

= 10 + 3

= 13

Therefore , Length and Breadth of Rectangle is 13 m and 5 m.

Formula Used :

\bf[\:{Area \: of \: Rectangle = Length \times{breadth}\:]}

Now :

L × b

13 × 5

65

Therefore , Area of Rectangle is 65 m .
