if the perimeter of semicircular protector is 108 then find the diameter of the protector

Perimeter=108cm

Pi x r +2r=108

r(22/7+2)=108

r(22+14/7)=108

r(36/7)=108

r=108x7/36

r=3x7

r=21cm

Therefore, d=2r

=2x21=42cm

perimeter of semicircle=pie×r+d

108=22/7×d/2+d

108=11d/7+d

108=11d+7d/7

108=18d/7

d=108×7/18

d=42 units
