If the point (-2, -3) lies on the graph of the
equation 4y = 2ax + 5, find the value of a.​

4y=2ax+5

we have given point (-2,-3)

so x= -2

y= -3

put value of x and y in above equation

4(-3)=2a(-2)+5

-12= -4a+5

4a= 12+5

4a=17

a=17/4
