If the polar ice caps of the Earth were to melt, what would be the effect of the length of the day be?

if polar ice caps of the earth were to melt then moment of inertia would have increased as water would move to equator and as we know
I×w =constant so if I increases then w decreases and earth would take more time to rotate around its own axis so length of day would increase
