x - 2 = 0 \\ x = 2
x {}^{4}  + 2x ^{3}  + 3x ^{2}   -  ax + 8 = 10
2 ^{4}  - 2 \times 2 ^{3}  - 3 \times 2 ^{2}  - 2a + 8 = 10 \\ 16 - 16 + 12 - 2a + 8 = 10 \\  - 2a =  - 10 \\ a = 5

 {x}^{4}  - 2 {x}^{3}  + 3 {x}^{2}  - ax + 8
x-2=0
x=2
2^4-2(2)^3+3(2)^2-a(2)+8=10
16-16+12-2a+8=10
0+20-2a=10
-2a=10-20
-2a=-10
2a=10(minus gets cancelled)
a=10/2
a=5
