in remainder u will get (a-1)x + (b-7)=0
now 0+0=0 right
so (a-1)x=0
a=1 and similarly b=7
now 0+0=0 right
so (a-1)x=0
a=1 and similarly b=7
i know the long division method but im just confused because of a and b
can u tell me the quotient?
