if the polynomial x⁴-6x³+16x²-25x+10 is divided by another polynomial x²-2x+k, the reminder comes out to be x+a, find k and a.

See...when u will divide the polynomial by xsq.-2x +k.. U will get (9-2k)x +(10-8k+ k^2) so after this u just need to compare..with (x+a)... =>9-2k =1 => 8 = k... And putting the value of k in (10 -8k+k^2) => 10 -64+64...so..a =10..
