if the polynomial ( y3 - 3y2 + ky +50) is divided by (y-1) the remainder is 62 ,find the value of "k"

Let the polynomial P(X) = y³- 3y² + ky +50 and y-1=0 i.e. Y=1

Then, p(x) = 62

Y³-3y²+ky+50 = 62

1³-3×1²+k×1+50 = 62

1 - 3 + k +50 = 62

k + 48 = 62

k = 62 - 48

k = 14
