If the population at top pyramid increase, animals or prey decreases in lower levels of pyramid as the higher class animals hunt them. And in case of plants, they decrease leaving bare land. And we all know the havoc decrease in plant number brings.

In the population pyramid, predator animals generally belong in the top positions. They hunt and kill animal of the lower levels of the population pyramid, for their eating purpose.
If the predator animal increases ,the lower pyramid's animals will decrease accordingly.
This will completely ruin the healthy ecosystem of the population pyramid.
