if the position of a particle is given by x=t^2-2t+4. Find the distance moved by the particle in t=3sec.​

Answer:

x = t^2 -2t +4

Differentiating x with respect to t,we will get

dx/dt = 2t - 2

Now if the particle travelled for t = 3 sec

From above equation,

Distance travelled will be = 2 * 3-2

= 6-2

=4m
