Condition (1) and (2)

1) when p=5 and is divided by 3 the remainder is 2

2) when p=7 divided by 3 the remainder is 1.

therefore, we get two remainders for different value of p.

hence this indicates that p is an odd number. Because when odd numbers are divided by 3 the remainder is 1 and 2.
