Heya ☺

Given that

Perimeter of a rectangle = 154m

Length = ?

Breadth = ?

Solution

Let the breadth of a rectangle be (x)m. Then,

length of a rectangle = (2x + 2)m

according to question,

Perimeter of a rectangle = 2(l + b)

=> 154 = 2(2x + 2 + x)

=> 154 = 2(3x + 2)

=> 154 = 6x + 4

=> 154 - 4 = 6x

=> 150 = 6x

=> x = 150/6

=> x = 25

Hence , the breadth of a rectangle = 25m

and the length = (2 × 25 + 2)m = (50 + 2) = 52m

Thanks

somya31: sorry wrong but thanks to do i have done and l. is 52 and b. is 25

HELLO DEAR!!!

Here's your answer...

The perimeter of a rectangle is 154m

The length is 2m more than twice its breadth.

Let,

The breadth be x

The length be 2x+2

Perimeter of rectangle= 2(l+b)

                           154= 2(2x+2+x)

                           154= 2(3x+2)

                           154= 6x+4

                           150=6x

                           150/6 = x

                            25=x
