if the price of 2 chairs and 5 tables are same and cost of 10 tables and 10 chairs is 7000. find the cost of 5 tables and 5 chairs? ​

Price of 2 chairs=Price of 5 Tables

Multiply both sides by 2

Price of 4 chairs=Price of 10 tables

Now it's given 10 Table +10 Chair price =7000

or 4 Chairs+10chairs=7000

14chairs=7000

1 chair =7000/14=500rs

Now 10 tables+10(500)=7000

10Table =7000-5000

1Table=2000/10=200rs

Price of 5 table+5chair=5(200)+5(500)=3500 rs

Alternativey:

Given 10 tables and 10 chairs cost 7000

or 10 C +10 T=7000

On dividing both sides by 2

10T/2 +10C/2=7000/2

5T+5C=3500 rs ans
