First increase in price of rice = 15% of Rs 15=

New price of rice= 15+2.25=17.25

When 30 paisa(0.30 Rs.) reduced then price of rice= 17.25−0.30=16.95Rs.

Net increase in price= 16.95−15=1.95

Net increase percentage=
