Given :

the price of Stapler increase from Rs.50 to Rs 54 .

To Find :

find the percentage increase.

Solution:

Initial Price of stapler = Rs.50

New Price of stapler = Rs.54

Increase in Price = 54-50 = 4

So, Percentage increase =\frac{\text{Increase}}{Original} \times 100

Percentage increase =\frac{4}{50} \times 100

Percentage increase =8\%

Hence the percentage increase is 8%
