SOLUTION :

Given: Probability of winning a game , P(E) = 0.3 .

The sum of all the probabilities of all possible outcomes of experiment is 1.

P(Event) + P (not an Event) = 1.

P(E) + P(not an Event) = 1

0.3 + P(not an Event) = 1

P(not an Event) = 1 – 0.3

P(not an Event) = 0.7

Hence, the probability of losing the game,P(not an Event)  = 0.7

★★The probability of happening of an event always lies 0 to 1 and in percentage it lies 0 % to 100 % .

★★ Probability of an event can never be negative.

HEY,

Answer:

0.7

Step-by-step explanation:

Total probability of an event = 1

FROM GIVEN,

Propability of winning a game = 0.3

Total probability of an event = probability of winning + probability of losing

Probability of losing an event = 1-0.3

= 0.7
