The probability of an event is less than 1

P(E)+P(Ē)=1

P(E)=1-P(Ē)

P(E)=1-0.49=0.51

Therefore probability of losing it=0.51

Hope I helps.....

shadowsabers03: I couldn't make out this.
deepikavihan: dude see if winning probability is 0.50 then looking will be 1-0.50 so winning and losing the match probability is same now we may say the match is tie
shadowsabers03: Hey, how can it be?! Tie game is a situation where there's neither win nor lose. But does the probability mean that?! It's the amount of chance for a situation. In your opinion of the probability of winning being 0.5, as the probability of losing was 0.5, then the probability of being tie became '0'. So there'd be no tie. How it could be said that equal probability of winning and losing leads the match be tie???!!! What're you saying?!
deepikavihan: ohk dude just chill you are right ohk
shadowsabers03: Uh, did I oppose?!
deepikavihan: what
shadowsabers03: Did I advocate my words critically?
deepikavihan: no
shadowsabers03: Okay.
deepikavihan: hmm
