Answer:

a = Tan⁻¹(±11)

Step-by-step explanation:

x tan a + y sec a = 11

when x = 0

=> y sec a = 11

=> y = 11/Seca

=>y = 11Cosa

when y = 0

=> x tan a = 11

=> x (Sina/Cosa) = 11

=> x = 11Cosa/Sina

x.y = Sina

=> 11Cosa * 11Cosa/Sina  = Sina

=> 11² Cos²a = Sin²a

=> tan²a = 11²

=> Tana = ±11

=> a = Tan⁻¹(±11)

if it is 1 instead of 11

then a = 45°
