➤ Answer :-

 \tt \dfrac{( - 5)}{15}  \times ( \sf x) = \tt \dfrac{( - 9)}{16}

To find 'x' in the following sum, we have to divide \tt\dfrac{(-9)}{16} and \tt\dfrac{(-15)}{15}

 \tt \dfrac{( - 9)}{16}  \div  \dfrac{( - 5)}{15}

To divide two fractions, we should take reciprocal of \tt\dfrac{(-5)}{15} and multiply both....

 \tt \dfrac{( - 9)}{16}  \times  \dfrac{15}{( - 5)}

 \tt \dfrac{( - 9) \times 15}{16 \times ( - 5)}

 \tt \cancel \dfrac{( - 135)}{( - 80)}  =  \dfrac{27}{16}  = 1 \dfrac{11}{16}

\Huge\thereforeThe other number is \tt 1 \dfrac{11}{16}
