Justification

If the product of two numbers is one then both the numbers need to be equal to 1 only.

If only one number be 1 then the product cannot be 1.

Examples:

⇒1 x 1 =1

⇒Both the numbers are 1 and hence the product is 1

⇒5 x 1 = 5

⇒4 x 1 = 4

⇒8 x 1 =8

One of the numbers is not equal to 1 and hence the product is not 1

Answer

Hence,

If the product of two whole number is 1 then both the whole numbers should be 1.
