we know that

weight

W = mg

here W = 64 N (not kg)

g = 9.81 m/s2

or

m = W/g = 64 / 9.81

or mass

m = 6.52 kg

now,

the variation of acceleration due to gravity with height 'h' is given as

g' = g.[1 + (h/R)]-2

or

g' = g / [1 + (h/R)]2

here

h = Radius of earth = R

so, we get

g' = g / [1 + R/R]2

thus,

g' = g/4 = 9.81/4 = 2.45 m/s2

now,

the weight of the object will be

W' = mg' = 6.52 x 2.45

so,

W' = 15.947 N
