Volume of cone = 1 / 3 pi r^2h

Given r is doubled

And height is tripled

New volume = 1 / 3 pi ( 2r ) ^2 × 3h

1 / 3 pi 4r^2 × 3h

On dividing Old and New volume

we will get 12

Hence the volume is increased by 12 times.

Hope it helps you.
