The radius is increased by 100 % means it is doubled so

if initial radius = r then new radius = 2r

Initial volume = 4 × pi × r^3

New volume = 4 × pi × 8r^3

so volume increased by 8 times

similarly surface area increases by 4 times

radius=r
New Radius,R=2r
New Volume=(4πR^3)/3=(4π(2r)^3)/3
=(32πr^3)/3
Volume increased=((32πr^3)/3)/((4πr^3)/3)
=8 times
=800%

SURFACE AREA=4πR^2=4π(2r)^2=16πr^2
Increase percent=16πr^2/4πr^2=4 times
=400%
