Volume =4/3 πr³
so if r triples it will be 3r
say new radius is a
∴a=3r
∴Volume=4/3π(3r)³=4/3π27r³
so the Volume is 27 times!
Hope this helps!

Given; that the radius of a sphere is tripled

To Find; volume

Solution; Let the initial radius be r

Then the initial volume = 4πr³/3=V

Then the Final radius= r/3

Then the final volume=4π(3r)³/3=27V

Hence the final volume is 27 times the initial volume
