The value of the focal length is f = 15cm.

We are given that:

Radius of curvature = 30cm

To Find: focal length 'f'

Solution:

  • As we know that the radius of curvature (R) = 30 cm
  • The value of radius is equal to two times the focal length i.e.
  • R = 2f
  • To find focal length, let's divide the radoiuns by 2.
  • or f = R / 2
  • or f = 30 /2
  • so, f = 15 cm

Thus the value of the focal length is f = 15cm.
