if the radius of the circle is 13cm and length of its chord is 10cm then find the distance of chord from the radius

if the radius of the circle OB= 13cm
the length of the chord AB= 10cm
now CB=1/2AB=5cm
now by applying phytagoras theorem
we get 13^2= 5^2+P^2
13^2 - 5^2=P^2
169 - 25=P^2
under root 144= P
that is 12cm
