Given radius = 6cm and the length of the arc = 12cm.

We know that Area of sector = LR/2

                                                 = 12 * 6/2

                                                 = 72/2

                                                 = 36cm.

Therefore the area of sector = 36cm.

Hope this helps!

Hey there!!

We have ,

Radius , r = 6cm

length. of the arc , l = 12

Area of sector , =
 \frac{l \: r}{2}
putting = 12 and r = 6 cm

so
 \frac{12 \times 6}{2}  \\  \\  =  \frac{72}{2}  \\  \\  = 36 \:  {cm}^{2}
Hope this helps you !
