Volume of a cone= 1/3*pi*r^2*h
Now radius =r/2
Then new volume =1/3*pi*(r/2)^2*h
=1/4[1/3*pi*r^2*h]
That is new volume is one fourth of
Original volume

if the radius of the cone is reduced to half , then find the new volume.

\rule{300}2

○ Given ○

r=\frac{r}{2} \\ V=?

\implies Volume(V)= \frac{1}{3}πr^{2}h \\ \implies V=\frac{1}{3}π×\frac{r}{2}×\frac{r}{2}×h \\ \implies V= \frac{1}{3}π\frac{r}{2}^2×h
