vickymishraOM: 5%=40 is given so 1%= 8 than 100% =8×100=800 because marked price always supposed as 100 %
prince0102: see attached photo
vickymishraOM: amount for motorcycle= 23500+12%of 23500 so 23500+2820=26320

sp=40rs
r=r
sp=p(1+r/100)
now rate of sale taxes is increase by 5%
sp=p(1+r+5/100)
from the que
sp=p (1+r+5/100)-p(1+r/100)
40= 5p/100
p=rs 800
where the marked price p as rs 800
