Let the three angles of the triangle be 5x, 3x and 7x.

Sum of all angles of a triangle = 180°

Therefore, 5x + 3x + 7x = 180°

15x = 180°

x = 180°/15

x = 12°

Therefore the angles of the triangle:

5x = 5*12 = 60°

3x = 3*12 = 36°

7x = 7*12 = 84°

Therefore it is an acute triangle (option D) because all the angles are less than 90°
