Naoh in the presence of H + would give Na+ leaving behind water .

Na+ attack ch3coo c2h5

as it's ch3coo - and c2h5+

so it will attack ch3coo-
giving ch3coona

and then oh - from water attack c2h5 + giving c2h5oh
