☯Given that ratio of chocolates to ice cream is 5:8

☯ Number of icecream is 30

  • Let suppose that common factor is x

Now, if common factor of both is x then,

  • Number of chocolates = 5x
  • Number of icecream is 8x

As given that chocolates are 30 in numbers.

So,

5x = 30

→ x = 30/5 = 6

From here, we found that common factor of both chocolates and icecream is 6

Finding number of icecream:-

As given that x = 6

→ 8x = 8 × 6

→ 8x = 48

  • Therefore, number of icecream = 48
