given

l:b=5:3

let l=5x

b=3x

also given, area of rectangle = 375cm^2

we know that area of rectangle = l×b

》l×b=375

5x×3x=375

15x^2=375

x^2=25

x=5

so,

length =25cm

breadth = 15cn

hope this helps you

Let the ratio of length and breadth be 5x, 3x

=> Area of rectangle = 375cm2

= 5x × 3x = 375cm2

= 15x2 = 375cm2

x2 = 375cm2 ÷15

x2. = 25

(x2) =(25)

x =5

Then, 5x =5×5 = 25

3x = 3×5 =15
