If the ratio of momentum of two bodies having equal masses is 1:4, what is the ratio of their K.E.:

For body II :- K.E

2 = 21 m 2 v 22

= 21

×4×v 22

=2v 22 ∵K.E 1

=K.E 2 2v 12

=2v 22

⇒ v 1

=2v 2

Now ,

P2P1

= m 2 v 2m 1

v 1

= 4×v 2

1×2v 2

= 21⇒P1:P2 is 1:2
