If the resultant of n forces of different magnitude acting at a point is zero, then the minimum value of n is 3.
Eg. Let two perpendicular forces be 3N and 4N. Their resultant will be 5N which can be cancelled by another force of 5N in opposite direction. So no.of forces applied will be 3

The answer will be 2. If we consider two forces of same magnitude but opposite direction. Resultant would be zero.
